Wham Bio:
Formed in 1981 by school friends George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley, Wham! were one of the UK's biggest ' 80s pop acts. Michael and Ridgeley originally performed in a band called the Executive before changing the name to Wham! Wham! backing singer D.C. Lee left after "Young Guns (Go For It)" to marry Paul Weller. The video for "Club Tropicana" was filmed at the famous Pikes Hotel in Ibiza. Michael got the title for "Wake Me Up before You Go Go" from a note Ridgeley left for him in his hotel room.
