Although San Diego's Unwritten Law identify with skate punk culture, they' re really fine craftsmen of power pop songwriting. Unwritten Law have toured extensively, but really hit the masses when invited to play the Vans' Warped Tour. The members of Unwritten Law grew up in Poway, California, a small town north of San Diego. In 2005, Rob Brewer (now the ex guitarist) punched lead singer Scott Russo in the face onstage, knocking out a front tooth. Filming a video in Yellowstone National Park, their drummer was cited for indecent exposure after jumping in a river naked.
