As one of the premier up and coming jam bands, this Chicago based group has a unique taste in syncopated psychedelia. Umphrey's McGee are similar to Phish and the Grateful Dead in that they allow taping at their concerts. They say they are influenced by Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin.
