Toto Bio:
Formed in 1978 by session musicians, Toto created a highly polished sound that swayed between smooth pop and hard rock. Toto's 1982 hit "Rosanna" was an ode to Rosanna Arquette, guitarist Steve Lukather's then girlfriend. Bassist David Hungate was the son of a former United States Congressman and United States District Court Judge. Toto comes from Latin, meaning "all encompassing." It's also the name of Dorothy's dog in "The Wizard of Oz." Toto worked with Michael Jackson on "Thriller" and David Lynch on the "Dune" soundtrack. Betcha didn' t know that.
