The cabaret influenced Dresden Dolls are made up of singer pianist Amanda Palmer and drummer Brian Viglione. The Dolls peform in Weimar Republic era clothes and take their name from a German city destroyed in WWII. "Dresden Dolls" is also the name of a very early song by the Fall on "Live At the Witch Trials." Dresden Dolls started performing in 2001 and have supported acts including Nine Inch Nails and Panic!
