McDonald may "keep forgettin' " but fans of ' 70s and ' 80s easy rock will not forget this grizzled Blue Eyed Soul crooner. Although best known for his tenure with the Doobie Brothers, it was soft rockers Steely Dan who gave McDonald his big break. Michael McDonald joined the Doobie Brothers in 1977 and continued with them until 1982, when he launched his solo career. Michael McDonald is frequently poked fun at on the comedy show, "Yacht Rock."
