Michael Andrews is a singer songwriter whose music appeared in the film "Donnie Darko." In 1999, Andrews had a small role on the TV series "Freaks and Geeks.Ã" Michael Andrews cut his teeth with the Origin, a late ' 80s early ' 90s commercial alternative band. He had a No. 1 hit in the U.K. with his cover of Tears for Fears' "Mad World," which is on the "Donnie Darko" soundtrack.
