Jethro Tull Bio:
Best known for the Classic Rock staple "Aqualung," Jethro Tull has been doling out prog ish Hard Rock since 1968. Tony Iommi played in Jethro Tull for one week in 1968, appearing in "The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus." Early on, Tull's managers attempted to get Ian Anderson to quit playing flute and let guitarist Mick Abrahams lead the band. Tull take their name from a farmer (named "Jethro Tull," of course) who invented the seed drill in 1701. The band was named by their booking agent on a whim in 1968.
