Foghat Bio:
Boogie prone hard rockers who sold a zillion records in the ' 70s on the strength of "Slow Ride" and "Fool For the City." "Lonesome Dave" Peverett (guitar and vocals), Tony Stevens (bass) and Roger Earl (drums) released their first album in 1972. The three founding members of Foghat were all in Savoy Brown first. Rod Price, who came on later, had been in Leaf Hound. Between 1972 and 1980, Foghat had five gold and two platinum records.
