Faith No More singer Mike Patton also fronted bands including Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, Tomahawk, and Peeping Tom. Several singers were in and out of the band before Mike Patton joined including Courtney Love and Chuck Mosley. Mike Patton was inspired to write the lyrics to "Caffeine" while doing a sleep deprivation experiment. Keyboardist Roddy Bottum formed Imperial Teen, while still a member of Faith No More.
