France's David Guetta is a DJ and producer known for his crowd pleasing style of pop infused vocal house. Guetta began deejaying at Paris' Club Broad when he was only 17. In 1992, a chance encounter with Chicago vocalist Robert Owens led to Guetta's first single, "Up and Away." Guetta named his parties "F*** Me I' m Famous" as a joke, when he was still unknown outside France. He received a Grammy nomination in 2005, for his remix of Deep Dish's "Flashdance."
