Formed in Seattle, Wash., Acceptance blend elements of pop, emo and punk into their alternative rock sound. Acceptance toured with the Juliana Theory, Panic! at the Disco, Hellogoodbye and the Academy Is... Members of the band have cited the Beatles, U2, Stevie Wonder, Journey, Metallica, Green Day and Wilco as influences. Acceptance broke up in the summer of 2006 to pursue separate musical projects. Shortly after the release of their first EP, "The Lost Words," guitarist Chris Decastro was replaced by Garrett Lunceford.
