A Perfect Circle unite the talents of Tool's Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel to create poignant, dark rock. Guitarist Billy Howerdel worked as a guitar tech for bands like Tool, Nine Inch Nails, the Smashing Pumpkins and Fishbone. A Perfect Circle's first music video for the track "Judith" was directed by David Fincher of "Seven" and "Fight Club" fame. Not a perfect circle itself, the band's logo is two slivers formed from four overlapping perfect circles of differing sizes.
