2 Live Crew Bio:
The godfathers of booty rap, 2 Live Crew popularized Miami Bass while pushing the limits of obscenity laws. Led by Luke Campbell (aka Skyywalker), they' re best known for the hits "Me So Horny" and "We Want Some P*ssy." The controversy around the Crew's 1989 LP, "As Nasty As They Wanna Be," turned them into rap superstars. Luke went on to a successful solo career. He also owns his own label and several popular strip clubs in Miami. George Lucas sued Luke Campbell for his use of the Skyywalker appellation, and won. So much for a cool MC name.
